The new ScanFaker DRS II has been completely redesigned as a network enabled standalone radar simulation component. The propagation analysis has been updated to take more parameters into account, and the target engine simulates a more physically correct return energy.Intended to be used in a network centric setup, the control data may be timestamped in order to ensure that targets and other factors in the simulated environment occurs at simultaneously at every connected unit. The simulator is configured using a well documented JSON script format. Translators are available in order to use AIS records or NMEA TTM messages as target generators.
