Taking items from containers of any kind (chests, cabinets, boxes, bookshelves, etc.) is perfectly 'legal' and does not aggro any NPCs.Destroying furniture (beds, lights, etc.) will count as stealing. Additionally, destroying capsule-type items, such as pots and vases, will also count as stealing, so be careful where you swing your weapons. As far as I can tell, destroying buildings is not considered hostile (unless you also displace furniture at the same time, for example by breaking a block under a bed).If you take too many items within a short period of time, any nearby guards in the village will come to attack you.
Other nearby NPCs will also run from you. You can either run away and come back a few minutes later (sometimes the guards seem to forget you), or you can kill the guards. If you decide to do the latter option, try to keep the fighting localized to a small area - if you're on a quest for a nearby villager and they see you fighting a guard, you will automatically fail the quest. Jan 13, 2017 To the best of my knowledge, the best weapon in the entire game is the upgraded Hokucide, obtained from the last of the museum quests from Koichi. After the Grand Pagoda Library, Koichi goes to the Ark, near Esther and whichever other npc’s presen. I've been hunting for the main four legendary weapons for a while. Bone Hammer, Water Sword, Eye Sword, and Star Cleaver. The highest dps.
WELL there is (as of rigjt now) not any 'best' armor or weapons. For the armor you need to find the best for your play style. Due to my evasion being max and my skill being decent with the enemy attack patterns I go the attacker route.
I use Legion storm armor legion storm boots chaos gloves red alert (charm) skill holder (mantle) and I use a necklace called daemoras drop. After all that my defense is either 0 or near it and my attack is about 1,500 or more this works for me. FOR WEAPONS HOWEVER. ONE OF THE BEST SWORDS (1h) is the sacres sword ragnarock which can be found at sacred sword resting place I beleive. If you have the update with the discard area then the only sword I have come across that is an equal or better sword is the shining sword exterva which can be obtained as a LAB of a lvl 210 hollow mission in the discard area. (Must follow it's storyline of really hard missions). Other than swords I can't help you except to do the concealed area.
The cgests on higher floors give you decent weapons I hear. (Pro tip: Enhance your weapons if you need decent weapins but can't find any).
